PCG seizes foreign liquor

Karachi: Pakistan Coast Guards (PGC) seized a huge quantity of foreign brand liquor, from Hud Goth near Ormara.

PCG officials received credible information by intelligence sources about likelihood of dumping of liquor near Hud Goth, (Ormara). Special patrolling parts were detailed for searching of the intended area.

During the course of search, PCG officials recovered 611x bottles of foreign brands liquor (in sacks) dumped in the sand. This consignment was likely to be transported to Karachi. 611 bottles of foreign brand liquor were taken into custody. Approximate value of seized liquor in international market is Rs.6.1million. Further investigation and legal process is under way.
