ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has categorically stated to eliminate terrorists from every nook and corner of the country.
He was talking to the Director of London School of Economics (LSE) and Political Science Professor Craig Calhoun here on Tuesday.
He said the country is on the right path to ensure a bright future. He said Pakistan’s economy is now stable which is further growing because of the consolidated efforts of the economic team.
He said Pakistan is proactively reaching out to its neighbours in the region for ensuring regional peace and stability. He said we will encourage and welcome partnerships of London School of Economics with local universities.
The LSE Director appreciated overall improved situation in Pakistan. He said the improved security environment and positive economic indicators have contributed towards building a positive image of Pakistan.
The director appreciated the leadership role of the Prime Minister in steering the country out of crises. They also discussed in detail the possibilities of students’ exchange programs.
Craig Calhoun said in recognition of the achievements of the founding father of Pakistan, a proposal to establish Jinnah Chair in London School of Economics is being considered.
