ISLAMABAD: The government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PT) negotiating teams held another round of dialogue here on Saturday evening.
The PML-N team held a detailed discussion with an open mind on the three issues highlighted by PTI. Both the sides would consult their respective leaderships for seeking guidance on the three points.
The government team agreed to all points, except three related to the proposed Judicial Commission Ordinance. The next round of the talks will be held on Tuesday.
Later, talking to newsmen, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen said that serious efforts are under way to reach an understanding with the government on the constitution of judicial commission to probe the alleged rigging in elections.
He said both the sides have demonstrated flexibility and the issue can be settled if the government team takes another step forward. To a question, Jahangir Tareen said that his party fully backed the government in its efforts to root out terrorism from the country.
