Islamabad: President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Javed Hashmi has said that he will sacrifice his life for supremacy of constitution and protection of the State institutions including Supreme Court.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Monday, he said protection of National Assembly and Senate is part of his faith. Javed Hashmi said Parliament is the forum which gives opportunity to the elected representatives from different parts of the country to meet each other.
He said he is still President of PTI as no constitutional way has been adopted to remove him from the post. He said Imran Khan has not read the constitution of his Party. He said he tried to abide by the party discipline till the last moment. He said Imran Khan does not care for the constitution of the country.
He said it was the unanimous decision of the Party leadership that we will not go towards the Prime Minister House. He said other party leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Jehangir Tareen, Asad Umar, Arif Alvi and Pervaiz Khattak were all agreed on this decision.
