Peshawar: Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Population Welfare Shakeel Ahmad Khan has stressed the need that population welfare workers must concentrate on their obligations dedicatedly, honestly and with full zeal and zest to ensure provision of facilities of population welfare to the common people at their door steps.
These views, he expressed while addressing as chief guest on the eve of distribution of trophies of best performance among the female trainees at Regional Training Institute (RTI) Peshawar on Wednesday afternoon.
He added the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf reforms agenda also focus on population welfare. That’s why, he added various schemes have been included in next year’s ADP and hoped that a big chunk of it would be achieved successfully.
Shakeel Khan said that establishment of RTI has been proposed for Malakand on the pattern of RTI Peshawar and Abbottabad which would be got approved, he was optimistic. He also informed that 1200 new vacancies for population welfare workers were being created and recruitment on which will start from August, 2014.
Earlier, the Principal Noor Nawaz, Deputy Principal Dr. Saadia Nawab and Dr. Farhana presented details about the overall performance and achievements of RTI. They said at the moment 4 badges were under-training wherein a total of 120 female workers participating.
The far flung districts of Dir, Malakand, Swat and Chitral right from Peshawar have been given appropriate representation. The Advisor appreciated the overall performance of RTI and assured all out support from the government.
Later on Shakeel Ahmad Khan distributed trophies for best performance in various disciplines among female trainees and stressed upon them to concentrate on their professional skills and studies.
