PPA shows solidarity with Peshawar victim families

KARACHI: Pakistan Pediatric Association (PPA), Central and PPA Sindh on Thursday organized a peaceful and silent demo outside the Karachi Press Club to show solidarity with children.

A large number of pediatricians, including President PPA Sindh Mushtaq Memon, Dr Saleem, Prof Aisha Mehnaz, Prof Jalal Akber, Dr Waseem Jamalvi and others participated in peaceful demonstration.

Immediate Past President, Pakistan Pediatric Association (PPA), Central, Prof Dr Iqbal Memon while talking to the media persons said that aim of organizing peaceful demo was to make realize the state that provision of protection, education and health facilities were the prime responsibilities of state.

He strongly condemned the brutal attack at Peshawar school and killing of innocent students and teachers and demanded exemplary punishment to cuprites involved in Peshawar tragedy.

The doctors offered Fateha and prayed to give high place in heaven to the departed souls. Special prayers were also offered for sovereignty and prosperity of the country.
