Karachi: Ruling Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPP) have emerged as the main winner of the local government elections in Sindh and the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) runner up.
According to unofficial and provisional results, the PPPP have won 569 seats in Sindh, followed by the PML-F with 61 seats so far.
In Shikarpur, Mahar group has emerged as victorious, beating their rivals.
In Punjab the ruling PML-N has bagged more than 1000 seats, followed by the independent candidates who so far have won more than 850 seats. Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has won 231 seats in Punjab.
