Public complains against KE’s IBC Gulistan-e-Johar


KARACHI: Many people, including male and female consumers of K-electric, have shown concern over delay in solution to power bills issue from K-Electric’s Integrated Business Centre (IBC) Gulistan-e-Johar.

Talking to PPI outside the IBC, many consumers complained that they have been visiting IBC Gulistan-e-Johar to resolve their issues since few months but they could not be resolved yet. They said everyday, they wait in long queues for their turn to speak about their inflated bills and wrong meter reading, but they are not listening to their lingering problems.

Ms Naila said she came from Block 18, Gulistan-e-Johar, to complain against wrong meter reading and inflated bills. Naila said she has been visiting customers care centre for the last few months, but no one responded positively to hear her complaints.

Yasir Hussain from Sachal Goth said IBC Johar had completely failed to give people better customer service, as its customer care officers were rudely behaving with consumers. He said he had complained of overcharge on his bill and visited many times to resolve the issue but it could not be resolved yet. He said what is their mistake as they have been paying heavy bills despite they are in trouble.

Elderly consumer and retired teacher Abdul Hamid said that he had become tired on complaining his issues since few years. He said every-one in IBC knows his name now as he has been visiting constantly at the centre since last few years for monthly complains regarding billing issues and other problems.

He said there should be a respect for citizens as they are feeling disrespect. People outside IBC Gulistan-Johar demanded of the government to resolve their issues as soon as possible.
