Punjab CM gives Rs.0.5mn prize to Daska based fruits-selling brilliant student


SIALKOT: Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif has given Rs.0.5 million special cash prize to Daska based fruit-selling student Ali Hamza for his outstanding performance in recently held matriculation exams in Gujranwala Education Board.

Senior Headmaster of Govt. High School Daska Mohammad Ejazul Haq told that the CM on Saturday, invited the brilliant student, his family and teachers to Punjab CM House Lahore, where, he saluted him and gave him Rs. 0.5 million cash award, Rs.150000 cash award for his teacher Waheed Ashraf, besides, announcing to make Govt. High School Daska as model school.

CM highly hailed the outstanding educational performance of the Ali Hamza and said such brilliant students were the proud for the nation. He said that the government would encourage such brilliant students at every level, enabling them to serve the nation and the country in a better way in future.

Ali Hamza a brilliant student of Govt. High School Daska, clinched the second position in humanities group (boys) in Gujranwala Board during the recently held matriculation exams by securing 1003/ 1100 marks.

He sells fruits on his cart in Daska city’s congested Chungi No. 8 locality after his school timings to feed his poor family.
