Rangers claim arresting 4 criminals including 3 political activists
KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Saturday claimed to have arrested four criminals, including three political party activists, in different targeted raids in the city.
According to rangers’ spokesman, the rangers carried out a targeted raid in Bilal and Awami Colonies and apprehended three political party activists, Sohail Qureshe, Mohammad Javid, and Mohammad Noor Alam, affiliated with MQM London. The spokesman said, “The accused were involved in target killing, extortion, and other crimes.”
Meanwhile, a ranger’s team detained a robber, Mohammad Akhtar, from PIB Colony. He was wanted to police in several robbery cases.
The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, drugs and contraband from his possession. The accused would be handed over to the police for further investigation, ranger said.[related_post themes="text" id="321931"]
