Rangers crackdown on brandishing weapons in SUVs


KARACHI: Director General Rangers Sindh Major General Rizwan Akhtar on Tuesday took serious note that double cabin vehicles with armed persons brandishing weapons in civvies ply on roads of Karachi.

According to spokesperson of rangers Sindh, such vehicles were found on the streets of Karachi, harassing common citizens. It is advised to all such individuals roaming in support utility vehicles (SUVs) and brandishing weapons that a deadline has been set and after 7 pm today (Tuesday) a crackdown would be start on them.

He said that to avoid undesired situation, the citizens should avoid any such activity; otherwise law would take its course against the violators.
