SBCA, ABAD set up committee to resolve issues

Karachi: Director General Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Agha Maqsood Abbass on Tuesday during presiding a meeting said that problems of common man related to the SBCA should be resolved immediately.

He was talking to a delegation of Association of Builders and Developers.

He said that relation between builders and clients should be stronger. He said that in order to improve the infrastructure of city all departments should work together and adopt a better strategy for providing facilities to common man.

Meanwhile, head of the delegation Haneef Gahor said that they want to work along with the SBCA and other departments for the betterment of the city.

However, Agha Maqsood announced to set up a committee for resolving public complaints comprised of representatives of the ABAD and SBCA.

It was also decided that action would be taken if any builder or officer were found involved in illegal constructions and action will also be taken against illegal constructions in the city.
