Islamabad: The Supreme Court while hearing a case regarding any possible extra constitutional step has issued notices to Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
In his remarks, Chief Justice of Pakistan Nasir ul Mulk said several lawyers and litigants could not reach the court [Wednesday] due to the situation on the Constitution Avenue.
He said the judges also have to take a long route to reach the court.
In his remarks, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja said that any attempt to remove the government through extra constitutional step amounts to anarchy and lawlessness.
The bench headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk has adjourned the hearing of the case till tomorrow (Thursday, August 21).
