KARACHI: Seven people, including four members of a family, were killed in separate road accidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.
Mohammad Nazir, 40, son of Kaly Khan; Mohammad Kamran, 25, son of Iqbal; Sakina, 15, daughter of Muhammad Nazir; Ifza, 08, daughter of Mohammad Nazir; all residents of Orangi town, were killed when an speeding truck hit their Suzuki pickup near Jaili Factory in Baldia No. 02. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for autopsies.
Separately, Aneel, 30, son of Nand Lal, was killed and his father Nand Lal, 55, and brother Maheesh, 35, son of Nand Lal, were injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit their car near Shell Petrol Pump in Baldia No. 01. The body and injured were brought to CHK for an autopsy and treatment.
Similarly, a man, identified as Mubarak Ali, 45, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Chakra Hotel in Gulshan-e-Maymar area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, an unidentified man, aged around 60, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Jama Cloth signal. The body was shifted to CHK for an autopsy.
