Seven injured in separate incidents

KARACHI: Eight people were injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday.

According to sources, four unidentified people were injured when a speeding car ALJ- 028 overturned near Aisha Bawany College on Shara-e-Faisal. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.

Eyewitnesses said that they were in state of intoxication and driver of affected car managed to flee after accident.

An unidentified young man and a child were seriously injured near National Stadium, when their motorcycle slipped due to over speeding. They were shifted to local hospital for treatment.

Nadim, 35, son of Haji Anwar, was seriously injured when an unidentified vehicle hit him near Samama Center in Gulistan-e-Johor. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

According to rescue sources, Kaneez Fatima, 22, was seriously injured when she fell from the 3rd floor of a house of retired anti-corruption inspector, where she worked. The incident occurred near Machhi Gali in Mehmoodabad area. She was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
