Six accused remanded to police custody


Karachi: An Anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday remanded six accused to police custody till 7th January 2014 in a murder case.

Police produced the accused Nadeem, Zubair Ayub, Azharuddin, Abid Ali, Zeeshan and Ubaid-ur-Rehman before the ATC judge under tight security.

The investigation officer requested the court to allow the physical remand of the accused as the police wanted to map out their connections and their accomplices in the crime. The court accepted the police request and remanded the accused to police custody till 7 January.

According to prosecution, all the accused were involved in killing of Kamran Hussain and injuring Zeeshan on 29 November 2014 within the jurisdiction of Korangi police station.
