Top police officers transferred in Sindh

KARACHI: Top police officers transferred in Sindh police department, sources at CPO said on Tuesday. The changes were made by IGP Sindh AD Khawaja through a notification.

Muzaffar Sheikh, DIG Establishment Sindh, was transferred and posted as DIG Special Branch with immediate effect against an existing vacancy.

Muhammad Hanif and Muhammad Amin Yousafzai, officers of the police service of Pakistan (BS-20), awaiting posting, were transferred and posted as DIG Sindh Reserve Police (SRP) and DIG Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), respectively.

Amir Farooqui, DIG Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Sindh, was transferred and posted as DIG West Zone and DIG West Karachi Range Zulfiqar Larik was transferred and posted as DIG East Zone, Karachi with immediate effect against an existing vacancy.

Ahmed Yar Chohan, an officer of the police service of Pakistan (newly promoted in BS-20) awaiting posting was transferred and posted as DIG Shaheed Benazirabad Range and Iqbal Dara, DIG Shaheed Benazirabad was transferred and posted as DIG Traffic Police, Hyderabad against an existing vacancy.

Saqib Ismail Memon, DIG CIA Karachi Range was transferred and appointed as DIG CTD Sindh Karachi Range.

DIG Naeem Ahmed Sheikh awaiting posting was appointed as DIG Headquarters, CPO Sindh, Karachi and DIG Finance CPO Sindh.

Capt® Asim Khan and Javed Mahar, newly promoted In (BS-20) awaiting for postings were transferred and posted as DIG Admin, Karachi Range and Establishment, CPO Sindh, Karachi, respectively.

Javed Akbar Riaz, awaiting posting, was transferred and posted as DIG Technical & Transport, Sindh Karachi in addition to his own duties and was allowed to hold DIG Information Technology. Munir Sheikh was transferred and directed to report to CPO Sindh, Karachi.
