KARACHI: The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) of Sindh police claimed to have killed two alleged bandits during an encounter in Steel town area of the city in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to police sources, an AVCC team on a tip-off raided a house in Steel town where kidnappers opened fire on the police team. In retaliatory fire, the kidnappers, Abdul Malik alias Haji and Haider Ali alias Rajo, suffered severe bullet injuries and died on the spot.
The AVCC team also claimed to have recovered two TT pistols, a car, and some mobile phone sets from their possession. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities.[related_post themes="text" id="320614"]
