Two killed, four injured in city violence


KARACHI: Two persons were killed and four others, were injured on Monday in different violence incidents in Metropolis.

According to rescue sources, a man, Faraz, 30, son of Qutubuddin, resident of Orangi Town, was gunned down by unidentified armed men outside of his home, near Raees Amrohi Colony in Orangi Town. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, a man, Babar, 35, son of Munshi, was shot and injured by unknown gunmen in Nazimabad No 7 area. He was brought to ASH for treatment.

Yet in another incident, an unidentified man, aged about 32, was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Navy Flat, Agra Taj Colony in Lyari. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.

Separately, a man, Arshad Hussain, 35, son of Laiq Hussain, was killed and two unidentified men, were injured in firing incident, occurred near Askari Park in Old Sabzi Mandi area. The rescue sources said the deceased and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy and treatment.
