Warm welcome at Jhelum: Nawaz Sharif said he never committed corruption

Jhelum, Punjab: Former Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif received a warm welcome when his rally arrived here Thursday evening.

A large number of citizens and party workers greeted Nawaz Sharif with slogans in his favor. They also showered rose petals over the car of Nawaz Sharif.

Speaking on the occasion, Nawaz Sharif said millions of voters elect a Prime Minister and five honorable judges sack him with a single stroke of pen. He asked if it was a disrespect to the vote of people. He said he was never involved in any corruption. He said his hands are clean and his heart filled with love for Pakistan. He said during his government the country was put on the path of progress and prosperity and law and order in Karachi was improved. He said he had promised to end load shedding and positive results in this regard could be witnessed. He said load shedding would end for good next year.

He said no action was ever taken against the military dictators who broke the constitution of Pakistan. He said we would have to think for the future of Pakistan and Pakistanis.

Later, federal minister for railway Khuwaja Saad Rafiq announced that the rally would leave from Jhelum tomorrow at 10:00AM.
