ISLAMABAD: Most areas of the country are receiving new spell of monsoon rain. These also included Mithi, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Thatta, Rohri, Karachi and Lasbela, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Rajanpur, Quetta, Jacobabad, Parachinar, Chitral and Kalam.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, Mithi received the highest rainfall of 183 millimetre. Director General Met Office Dr. Ghulam Rasool said the new spell of rains would continue for three to four days. He said level of water in the rivers will rise because India is releasing water in them.
