Woman among three killed in Karachi violence


KARACHI: Three people, including a woman, were killed in different firing incident in the city on Friday.

According to police, a private school principal, Syed Farhan Shah, 45, son of Syed Mehmood Shah, was killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire on his car near Gol Market in Nazimabad. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident of firing, a 26-year-old man, Adil, son of Yousuf, was shot dead by unknown armed men in North Nazimabad. The body was shifted to ASH for postmortem examination.

Separately, a 30-year-old woman, Rubina, daughter of Afzal Kahn, was killed when unknown armed culprits opened fire on her near old truck stand in Mauripur area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.
