Yazman School wins Brain of AhmedpurEast title


Ahmedpur East: A quiz competition among 10th class students of 70 boys and girls high schools of AhmedpurEast, Yazman and Sadar Bahawalpur tehsils was held under the auspices of Punjab College AhmedpurEast which was won by Albadar High Shool Yazman student Anfal Hamza.

He was awarded with the title of the brain of AhmedpurEast and given Rs10000 cash award while Janbaz high school student Malik Mohammad Owais got the second and Al-Sufa public high school

AhmedpurEast student Ms Iqra Yaseen third position. They received Rs6000 and Rs4000 cash awards respectively in a ceremony which was attended by 210 students of 70 boys and girls high schools functioning in public and private sectors. Heads of these institutions also attended this luncheon ceremony in the premises of Punjab college AhmedpurEast.

Director Punjab College Suleman Farooqi told the audience that in first phase on the initiative of Punjab College, quiz competition were conducted in all 70 boys and girls high schools of three Sub-divisions of Bahawalpur district where each institution selected its three topper students so all these 210 toppers were invited in Punjab college for last phase quiz competition so the final three lucky winners were announced and awarded today.

Earlier Principal Punjab Colleger Aslam Pervaiz, Director EFA School Syed Tanveerul Hassan Bukhari, and principals and head masters of different schools Salahuddin Jajja, Sarfraz Khan Jatoi, Siraj Ahmed Ansari, Haji Abdul Jabbar, Arshad Bhutta, Siraj Ahmed Sehar, Chaudhry Mohammad Hasan,Khursheed Ahmed,Chaudhry Zeshan, President National Press Union Ehsan Ahmed Sehar and Director Punjab College Suleman Farooqi distributed trophies among 210 boys and girls high schools who participated in this quiz competition.
