Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that the business loans under the Prime Minister’s Business Loans will be provided on merit and there is no quota of any including the Prime Minister.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad Friday‚ he said it is a transparent programme for those who have qualified for this and have viable business plan.
He said Prime Minister’s Business Loans is not for any specific political party. He urged the youth to take benefit of Business Loans and start their own business to support their families and provide employment to others.
He said the conditions of getting the loans have been made easy. One should have only ten percent of the amount‚ he is going to obtain as loan and only one guarantee is required.
Information Minister said PML(N) Government had also run schemes including Yellow Cab and provision of Laptops to the students by the Punjab Government.
He said the Federal Government will also launch Laptop scheme which will be provided to the talented students throughout Pakistan‚ AJK‚ FATA and Gilgit Baltistan.
He said it will be source for education. Answering a question‚ Information Minister said Pakistan is bound to abide by the agreements made with other countries.
He said if we do not fulfil our responsibilities in this regard‚ it will send a wrong message to the world. He said we should respect and implement agreements with other countries.
