Defense of Pakistan is in strong hands: Kh. Muhammad Asif

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the defence of the country is in strong hands and nobody can harm its territorial integrity.

He stated this while talking to the party workers at his residence in Sialkot Cantt here Sunday. Local MNA Sahibzada Syed Iftikhar Ul Hassan Shah, MPAs Ch. Muhammad Ikram, Mansha Ullah Butt, Ch. Arshad Javaid Warraich and PML-N leaders Idrees Ahmed Bajwa (President PML-N Sialkot District) , Shujaat Ali Pasha (General Secretary PML-N Sialkot District), Mehmood ul Hassan Babar and others were present on this occasion.

Federal Defense Minister said that the present government was fully aware of the internal and external dangers and was making hectic efforts to cope with them. He said the government was also committed to weed out terrorism from the country in active cooperation of the masses, adding that the whole nation stands united against the terrorism in the country.

He said the early establishment of durable peace and weeding out of terrorism and militancy was the top priority of the country and government was committed to uproot terrorism from the country. He said that the PML-N was striving to strengthen the durable and real democracy and true democratic norms and values in Pakistan.

Federal Minister said that the PML-N has successfully put the country on the path of success economically and politically by taking some very important decisions on the right time in the larger national interest.

PML-N government was implementing on several revolutionary practical steps to pull the country and the nation out of persisting energy crisis , besides tackling the internal and external issues amicably in the larger national interests.

PML-N government was promoting a revolutionary policy of Trade not Aid with the other countries He said that this policy would be helpful in making Pakistan a self-reliant and stable economically depending upon the available national resources, besides creating the maximum job opportunities for the youths.

He said that the present government has strengthened the national institutions by promoting the durable democracy, as there was rule of law in the country. He said that now the PML-N was the guardian of democracy in the country and was striving for the rights of the masses. It would never allow anyone to derail the democracy in the country and would successfully eliminate the anti-democracy conspiracies of the anti-democratic elements.

He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was striving to make Pakistan a strong economical power after making it a nuclear state. On this occasion, Khawaja Muhammad Asif listened to the problems of the local people sympathetically.
