Sialkot: In Daska the Vice President of Asian Federation of Therapeutic Communities (AFTC) for Asia Bashir Ahmed Naz on Wednesday distributed X-mass gifts among the local Christians , during a special ceremony held at Daska here today, under the auspices of NGO “ Young Blood Foundation” Daska.
Addressing the participants, Bashir Ahmad Naz narrated that the minorities have been enjoying the complete religious freedom in Pakistan. He said that the Christians have been playing their pivotal role in national peace, prosperity, integrity, solemnity and development. He said that the Christians were also the loyal Pakistanis.
He said that being equal citizens of one State, the Pakistan government was empowering the minorities to use their talent for national development. He added that every religion of the world gives the message of love, peace and compassion for humanity.
He narrated that the Christians were enjoying the complete religious freedom in Pakistan, as the government has made effective and positives measures to safeguard the rights and privileges of the minorities of Pakistan.
Senior journalists Zafar Malik, Abid Hussain Mehdi, President NGO “Young Blood Foundation Daska” Tanveer Ahmed Mughal, General Secretary Haji Zahid Jehangir, Lala Jamilul Haq Dar, Faisal Waris Mughal, Zuber Ayub Khokhar, Ghulam Mustafa Aasi, Master Tariq Mehmood and representatives of the local Christian community were also present on this occasion.
