22-hour load shedding at Naudero

Naudero, Sindh: Due to sudden announcement by SEPCO authorities the load shedding timings in Naudero on feeder-2 increased from 12 hours to 22 hours even ignoring the commencement of Intermediate annual examinations.

Sources told PPI that Sukkur Electric Supply Corporation (SEPCO) has decided that those feeders would be closed down where recovery is almost nil and power theft is rampant. Hence such 10 feeders would be closed or load shedding there would be increased up to 22 hours a day. These feeders include Naundero feeder-2, Ratodero, Larkana, Dokri, Miro Khan and Warah.

People of Naundero have condemned the prolonged load shedding and warned to take to streets. They also demanded revival of the old system of putting Naundero on single feeder.
