4 killed over tribal clash near Larkana


Larkana: Four men were gunned down and one other seriously injured in the limits of Bakrani police station Saturday morning due to old enmity between two groups of Junejo community.

The victims were identified as car driver 20-years Irfan Khaskheli: 28-years Muhammad Mubeen Junejo: 31-years Aijaz Junejo and 35-years Mahboob Junejo: while the injured was identified as 30-years Muhammad Daud Junejo.

According to SHO Khalil Masan these persons were going to attend a court in Larkana in a car when another car suddenly overtook them and armed men came out from it and started indiscriminate firing due to which three persons died on the spot and two were injured.

The injured were rushed to Casualty of the Chandka Medical College Hospital here where Mahboob Junejo also succumbed to injuries and duty doctors shifted another injured Daud Junejo to Surgical Ward where he was being operated by the surgeons to save his life.

Later: some armed men also arrived at the Emergency Department of the hospital and harassed the duty doctors and paramedics.

SHO Khalil Masan said that there was a dispute between two parties of the Junejo clan. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after postmortem at Chandka Medical College Hospital. No case was registered till filing this report.
