7 Afghans arrested from Larkana

Larkana: SHO Market Police Station Nawaz Malhan arrested seven Afghan nationals here, out of them five were without valid passports and two had no travelling documents or passports at all.

They had been engaged in selling old shoes in this town since long at various points including busy Royal Road.

Five of them are real brothers: Naseem Khan, Zaman Khan, Talha Khan, Mirza Khan, Shahzad Khan and Saeed Jan & Naeem Khan. They told police that they are residents of Afghanistan’s Jalalabad area and were doing business by selling old shoes here, adding that they are living in rented houses in different areas & localities.

SSP Larkana, Kamran Nawaz told media that as per federal government’s National Action Plan, Afghan national’s are being focused by the police and Market PS SHO during crackdown operation arrested seven Afghan nationals who were staying here illegally without valid passports and proper documents.

He said such operation will continue. The arrested people will be handed over to FIA for further probe.
