City (Police arrest 16 Afghan nationals)

SIALKOT: The Daska City police have arrested as many as 16 Afghan nationals for illegally staying in Pakistan near the banks of Bambaanwala-Ravi-Baidian (BRB) Canal Daska on Saturday.

Daska City police have registered a case (No.1111/2014) against the said dubious accused Afghan nationals under the 14 Foreign Act 1946 and have sent them behind the bars.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Daska Engineer Rana Zahid Hussain told that the accused Afghan nationals were identified as: Dilawar Muhammad Yar, Taimur Shah, Ameer Alam Khan, Muhammad Gull son of Gulaab Khan, Said Ahmed, Fareed Sher Muhammad, Nazar Khan, Muhammad Yousaf, Eid Gull Zeb Khan, Shah Wali, Ghulam Muhammad Noor, Rahim Khan, Taj Muhammad, Fazalul Haq, Ismail Akhtar Muhammad and Abdul Rehman.

DSP added that the accused were the afghan nationals and they could not provide any official documentary proof to stay in Pakistan. Further investigations are underway, in this regard…
