KILLA SAIFULLAH:,,, Balochistan chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch paid a surprise visit to District Headquarters hospital here Tuesday. He was accompanied by Commissioner Zhob Division Kazim Niaz, Principal Secretary Muhammad Naseem Lehri and others.
He went round various departments of the hospital. He also enquired about health of some patients and took stock of facilities available in the hospital.
At a briefing on the occasion Dr Amiruddin told Chief Minister that there were problems due to shortage of doctors at the hospital. Only two doctors were posted at the hospital at present.
Chief Minister said that government was striving to provide better health facilities to the people by mobilizing all available resources. He aid immediate steps would be taken to overcome shortage of male and female doctors at the hospital. He announced a ambulance for the hospital.
Dr Malik Baloch also visited Cadet College here today. He inspected various classes and asked questions form students.
Speaking on the occasion he said that provincial government was paying special attention on standard education. We are mobilizing all resources for educating our children. Today’s student is future of tomorrow. Teachers should concentrate on education and character building of students. Provincial government he added was spending 23 percent budget on education. It is our desire our children not only face challenges of the country but of the world as well. Twenty-first centuries is of education and technology. Our survival is linked with education harmonized with modern demands.
He also announced Rupees one million for the Cadet College.
