LARKANA: Commissioner, Larkana Division, Ghulam Akbar Laghari, Saturday paid a surprise visit to the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Center and saw the arrangements made for the women beneficiaries.
He was accompanied by BISP Director Abdullah Gadani and others.
Gadani told the commissioner that ten booths have been established for the benefit of the women where 200 to 250 are getting financial support daily.
Laghari directed NSUSC officials to ensure cleanliness and availability of cold drinking water facility for the ladies that arrive here from far flung areas since morning.
He also directed to make the system easier so that any woman should not suffer and especially ailing and disabled women should be taken care of properly.
He also directed the BISP director that he should use his personal influence to introduce ATA system so that women are absolved of this increasing rush.
He also enquired from women present there about the facilities, and difficulties faced by them and they complained of non-availability of cold drinking water, slow pace of work and rush.
