SIALKOT: There was no let up in prevailing week long petrol shortage crisis in Sialkot district and the miseries of the petrol seeking people on Tuesday remain continued.
Addressing a press conference here, the SCCI President Fazal Jillani termed the ongoing crisis of petrol shortage in Punjab as total failure of the government.
Reportedly, majority of people suffered great ordeal due to paucity of patrol in Sialkot district’s all the four Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils, as the shortage of patrol remain continued for the seventh consecutive day on Tuesday.
Especially, the students suffered from great ordeal in reaching their educational institutions and the attendance of the students also remained very thin.
Meanwhile, all the patrol filling stations remained closed in Sialkot district. Their owners claimed that the government was not supplying them patrol and diesel.
The owners of the filling stations kept their filling stations closed, displaying boards that ‘no patrol was available due to which the stations were closed’.
Peoples expressed anger on the owners of the filling stations and government for this critical situation. The perturbed people urged the government to take serious notice for giving early relief to the commuters.
