District: Political, religious parties urged to shun difference


Sialkot: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid has urged political and religious parties to shun their differences and be united on a platform for overcoming the anti-Pakistan conspiracies by the anti-State elements, saying that it was the right time for all of us to be united by putting aside our differences for thinking Pakistan and saving it from terrorism, militancy and insurgency from the country.

He stated this while addressing the party workers at his Dera in Pasrur city after distributing the ration bags and Eid gifts among the 250 local deserving families here today. Local PML-N leaders Khawaja Saeed Butt, Prof. Shehzad Butt and local notables were also present on this occasion.

He said that the government was committed to weed out terrorism from country, as whole nation stands united against terrorism and was ready for every sacrifice to save the Motherland shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan. Federal Minister revealed that the Pak military’s Zarb-e-Azb operation will continue till the complete elimination of terrorism from the tribal areas of NWA. Zahid Hamid narrated that the IDPs were not alone, as the whole the Pakistani nation was with them in this very hard time.
