Faryal says lawlessness in Larkana not to be tolerated

Larkana: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) leader and MNA Faryal Talpur has said that law & order situation in Larkana will be maintained at all costs and nobody will be allowed to take law into hands. Addressing a meeting of Ulema at Deputy Commissioner House here on Wednesday, she said that as Muslims they were deeply shocked over the incident that happened in Larkana on Saturday. She thanked the Ulema for their cooperation with the administration in calming down the tense situation. She said that Sindh is the land of Sufies where such incidents will not be allowed. She said that the accused are arrested and inquiry is also under way which will be made public soon.

To a question of media she said that frequent traffic jams problem of Larkana will be resolved. She said that she has issued directions to NSUSC and Taluka Municipal Administration to make the city neat & clean.

To another question she said that ghost teachers will soon be taken to task. To yet another question she said that Sindh Chief Minister will not be changed as he is an old party worker. She said he has worked hard to improve situation in Tharparkar.

She said that talks with MQM may be held and there is nothing in holding parleys with them.

MNA Ayaz Soomro, Commissioner Saeed Mangnejo, DIGP Khadim Rind, Deputy Commissioner Ghanwar Leghari, SSP Korai were also present.
