Govt to establish 6 mega passport, NADRA centres: Nisar

RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the government will establish six mega passport and NADRA centres in different parts of the country to facilitate the public.

He was talking to newsmen after inaugurating a mega passport and NADRA office here in Rawalpindi on Tuesday. He said NADRA earned five billion rupees last year, and this year so far, six billion rupees have been earned.

Similarly, Passport Office has so far generated revenue of twenty-two billion rupees this year, he added. He said over one hundred thousand National Identity Cards have been blocked for not having valid information and two hundred employees have been removed from service for corrupt practices.
