ABBOTTABAD: Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani, Advisor to Chief Minister for information and education said that KPK government has focused on two areas namely Education and Health and our two and half years efforts started yielding results and the gap between private and government schools has been closed down.
This he said while addressing as chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony of Annual Sports Day of Girls High and Higher secondary schools here at police line ground on Saturday.
Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani said that KPK government has allocated record all time higher budget for education and is making all out effort to provide furniture to the schools by replacing Jute mats and is trying to improve the infrastructure in education sector for 4.6 millions schools going kids and it will cost billions of rupees for which KPK Chief Minister has given special directives being priority item instead of construction of Motorways and roads.
Advisor told that KPK government has planned some of mega projects and in coming next two and half years, nation will see a series of mega project which will change the destiny of the province and of poor peoples.
An amount of Rs17. Billions has been spared for up gradation of health facilities in KPK and all the hospitals, RHC’s, BHU’s and dispensaries will be updated with latest machinery and health facilities
Mushtaq told that work on Abbottabad- Murree road with Abbottabad bypass will be started shortly and sports stadium in Nawansher wit the cost of 150. (m) is already approved.
He later distributed prizes among the teams and staff.
