Jewellery shop looted


SIALKOT: Three unidentified armed motorcyclists looted gold ornaments (weighing 50 Tolas), worth of Rs.2.5 million, at gunpoint during a broad day light major dacoity incident at a jewellery shop of Mohammad Shoaib in Main Bazaar Aadha-Motra, Daska tehsil here today.

Reportedly, the accused forcibly stormed into the jewellery shop, made hostage all the people present there and started looting. Accused fled away after looting gold ornaments, weighing 50 Tolas, worth of Rs. 2.5 million.

Local shopkeepers observed the shutter down strike to lodge strong protest against this nasty incident, demanding immediate arrest of the accused, in this regard.

Motra police are investigating with no clue or arrest, in this regard.
