Muzaffarabad: Kashmiris living on both sides of Line of Control (LoC) and abroad observing right of self-determination day on Monday with the renewed pledge to continue their struggle for the attainment of right to self-determination.
It was on January 05 in 1949 when the UN Security Council passed a resolution supporting Kashmiris’ right to decide their future destiny. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the speakers at a rally in Muzaffarabad condemned the unabated Indian brutal activities.
They said India can neither suppress indigenous Kashmir movement through the use of brute force nor hoodwink the international community through its election drama in Occupied Kashmir.
They lauded the Kashmir policy of Pakistan government and praised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for highlighting Kashmir issue at international forums in its true perspective.
They also condemned unprovoked Indian firing at the Line of Control and the Working Boundary. Later, a memorandum was presented at the UN Observers Mission here in Muzaffarabad.
