Mirza optimistic of sweeping Badin LG polls


Pingrio: Former Home Minister Sindh Dr Zulfiqar Mirza said on Wednesday that the people of Badin will show no trust in PPP during upcoming local bodies election in district Badin. “PPP leaders through the former president of PPP Badin is committing millions of rupees corruption in mega projects. After being frightened by the strength of public accountability, PPP leaders have tried to postpone the LG elections in district Badin,” he said.

Addressing the participants in an electoral campaign, organized by his group activists and Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) local leadership in Pangrio, he said they would not allow escaping corrupt leaders of PPP. He said some elements of PPP are threatening his supports of dire consequences. He said the PPP’s core leadership had occupied Badin in fear of defeat.

Mirza said that the persons, who hurls threats should understand that day of 19 November 2015 will be Memorial Day for them when the people of Badin will cast votes to their rights, but not to the persons who looted their assets ruthlessly. He said large no of people will come out from their homes to cast their votes on Thursday.

He said that the persons, who tried to turn him way from people, today have been compelled to pass their lives abroad. He assured that due to alliance of PML-F, PML-N and Arbab Ghulam Rahim groups, they surely will defeat PPP in Badin. He said that PPP had nominated the non-local candidates in Pingrio.

In the end, he thanked the leaders of his coalition for supporting him in his constituencies.
