Order issued to retrieve Hindus’ occupied properties

LARKANA:In the light of the Supreme Court’s decision, a high meeting was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Salim Raza Khuhro, Larkana Division Commissioner, which was also participated by PPP MNA Ramesh Lal and other relevant parties, said a handout issued here on Sunday by Information Department.

The commissioner directed all the revenue officers and Mukhtiarkars to obtain retrieval of all those properties of Hindu community which have been illegally occupied by habitual land grabbers except those which are pending in the courts and ensure strict compliance of the orders of the apex court.

A three-member committee was also constituted by MNA Ramesh Lal which will look into the issues of Gaushalla, Dharamshalla and other places. All five Deputy Commissioners, SSPs of Larkana division took part in the meeting along with advocate Kalpna Devi, Dr. Dayali Gull, Seth Paryal Das and others. The meeting took stock of the prevailing situation and held discussion of encroached lands and other properties of Hindu community district-wise.
