Patients suffer due to internal dispute of doctors

LARKANA: An internal dispute between senior doctors of ENT Department: Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Larkana is creating problems of patients.

Sources said an Associate Professor of ENT: Chandka Medical College (CMC: in a recent complaint addressed to the Principal said that after recent holidays when he came to his office its lock was broken and furniture: papers and other articles thrown out. He demanded to conduct inquiry into the incident and also give him possession of his office.

CMC Principal constituted Inquiry Committee on 25th January: 2014 but the same inquiry is still pending. While talking to PPI affected doctor: Dr. Altaf: said that he was nominated by the former Vice Chancellor & Controller of Examinations: SMBBMU: to conduct annual examination of 4th year MBBS after the refusal of Prof Gulzar Ahmed Shaikh: ENT HOD due to his grievances. He charged this act had annoyed his head of department and other things are consequence of this row: which is affecting smooth running of the department.

He appealed to the newly posted VC to resolve the issue for the betterment of the poor patients.
