PM: (PM discusses regional situation with his British counterpart)

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his British counterpart David Cameron held a meeting on the sidelines of Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit in Malta on Friday.

The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional and international situation including Afghan issue. The Prime Minister said Pakistan considers Britain as it close friend and a reliable dependable partner.

He stressed the need for closer cooperation among Commonwealth members in the backdrop of multi-dimensional challenges. He said Pakistan attaches special significance to its relations with Commonwealth.
