KANDHKOT: All Pakistan Trade Union Federation (APTUF) on Saturday took out a rally from Grain Market to Kandhkot Press Club in remembrance of Chicago martyrs on the eve of Labor Day.
The rally led by APTUF Central Leader Meer Hebat Khan Bajkani, Tariq Ali, social leader Sher Mohammad Khan, passing through main areas of the city, reached at local press club where the protestors, carrying placards and banners, raised slogans in favor of labors rights.
Addressing the protestors, speakers said, not a single government had worked for the welfare of workers properly. They said workers are compelled to work on meager salary of rupees three thousand per month; however the labor laws were being violated openly.
They said the counties where labors are prosperous are the developed nations like China.
They said the people’s representatives in parliament, ever ignored labors rights. They workers are bound to do work 12 hours a day.
