Protest rally in Dadu against Mirza

Dadu: Pakistan People’s Party’ (PPP) activists staged a protest rally here on Saturday against farmer Home Minister Dr Zulfiquar Mirza that marched from the residence of MPA Pir Mujeeb to Dadu Press Club.

The rally was led by PPP’s Taluka Dadu President Saifullah Panhwar, and other leaders Nawaz Solangi, Najeebullah Pahnwar, Gul Mehran Dawich and Altaf Samoo also attended it.

The protesters carried banners and placards in their hands and shouted slogans against Dr Mirza.

The protesters demanded from the government to arrest Dr Mirza for using harsh language against the PPP leaderd.

On the occasion, Saifullah Panhwar said all allegations against their party leader were fake. He said these allegations were far from the reality.

He warned to authorities concerned to take notice of Dr Mirza’s statements; otherwise, they will further widen the circle of their protest.

Meanwhile, PPP’s Sindh Council member Qamber Ali Laghari, while speaking a press conference at Dadu Press Club, said Dr Mirza was a common man when he had joined the PPP. He said the present status of Dr Mirza is because of the generosity of PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari.

He challenged that he could beat Dr Mirza in Badin if he his wife and son tender resignation from assembly membership.
