Provincial minister distributes Rs. 7.5 million prize bonds and NSC to widow


SIALKOT: Local MPAs Mohammad Asif Bajwa and Ch. Mohsin Ashraf, today, gave the Rs. 7.5 million prize bonds and national savings certificates to the widow of Daska based slain lawyer Rana Khalid Abbas (President Daska Bar Association) as financial compensation by the Punjab government and the registration papers of house (worth of Rs. 5 million) to the grieved family of another slain lawyer Mohammad Irfan Chohan as financial compensation by Punjab government.

A formal ceremony was held at the office of Assistant Commissioner Daska here today. EDO (Finance) Sialkot Shuja Qutab, AC Daska Rao Suhail Akhtar and acting President of Daska Bar Association Nabi Ahmed Bajwa attended the ceremony.

On this occasion, MPA Mohammad Asif Bajwa told that the Punjab government would soon provide the government job to the widow of slain lawyer Rana Khalid Abbas and younger brother of slain lawyer Mohammad Irfan Chohan.

In Daska, accused police inspector Shehzad Warraich (the then SHO of Daska City police station) had shot dead to Daska based senior lawyers Rana Khalid Abbas (President Daska Bar Association) and Mohammad Irfan Chohan during a clash in front of the main gate of Daska City police station on May 25th, 2015.

Meanwhile, Lahore High Court Bar Association has donated Rs. 0.6 million for the help of the grieved families of the Daska based slain lawyers,

President Lahore High Court Bar Association Pir Masud Ahmed Chishti  gave cheque of Rs.0.4 million  to grieved family of Daska based slain lawyer Rana Khalid Abbas (President Daska Bar Association) and Rs. 0.2 million  cheque to the grieved family of another slain lawyer Mohammad Irfan Chohan.
