Rally demands religious harmony

Larkana: A large rally was taken out here on Friday by civil society members which started from Sessions Court and terminated at Larkana Press Club after marching through various roads against extremism.

The protestors were holding large banners and chanting slogans were demanding harmony and religious tolerance. They also held a protest demonstration in Jinnah Bagh.

The rally was organized by the members of Save Humanity Social Welfare Organization and it was participated by lawyers Abdul Nabi Saryo, Rahmatullah Bughio, Javed Seenari, Assad Sangi, Hussain Memon, Sudheer Brohi and others.

While talking to media they said that the increasing trend of intolerance in the society is very dangerous for which the federal and provincial governments will have to take coordinated actions. They said that in Sindh the extremism should not be allowed to flourish because this is the land of Sufis and saints.
