Shikarpur: Sindh Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah here Saturday announced that the provincial government would give a bounty of Rs20million for anyone who gives information that can lead to successful arrest of the perpetrators of Shikarpur bomb blast.
Talking to media during his visit here, he said the government would give compensation of Rs2million to each bereaved family and Rs0.2million for every injured.
To a question about lack of doctors and medical facilities in the district headquarter Civil Hospital Shikarpur, he said the Sindh government has already constructed a new building of the hospital which would soon be inaugurated and doctors and technicians would be posted in it. He said life saving drugs and other medicines would also be supplied to the hospital soon.
He visited the site of bomb blast and expressed sympathy with the affected families. He said the government would soon repair the damaged structure of Imambargah and mosque.
Syed Khurshed Ahmed Shah opposition leader in National Assembly, Agha Siraj Khan Durani speaker of Sindh Assembly, MNA Aftab Shahban Mirani, Health Sindh Minister Mahtab Dahar were also present.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that Sindh is the land of peace and love but the growing acts of terrorism and suicide bombings in the province are a big challenge. He said his government accepts the challenge and soon the terrorists would be taken to the task.
He said that an investigation team would be probe into the bombing incident and complete its report within two weeks.
He advised the notables of different communities as well as the city elders to also take security measures in their respective areas on self-help basis.
He ordered the Shikarpur police that the accused involved in the incident of bomb blast at Imambargah Shikarpur should be challaned to the court of law within 14 days after their arrest.
