NAUDERO, SINDH: Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has said on the occasion of the 36 martyrdom anniversary of the PPP founder and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto that Bhutto was a role model who made great contributions to bring about unity in the Muslim World.
Zardari said today blood is flowing in the Islamic World from the Middle East to Afghanistan and Pakistan. We must make efforts to make the Muslim world free of bloody conflicts. He stressed to discuss the Yemen situation in parliament. He said that Benazir Bhutto’s book talks about reconciliation with the Muslim countries. We are ready to sacrifice even our lives for the defense of Saudi Arabia. Every Muslim could sacrifice his life for Holy Haramen Sharifeen. He said we shall make an unanimous decision in this regard in parliament. He said that consultation was necessary for taking decision in parliament.
He resented 18-hour load shedding in rural parts of Sindh. We will not let the system to weaken, he, however, said. PPP suffered everything but none of us wrote an apology, he said. He said that PPP would stand by Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif in the hour of need.
He congratulated Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on formation of the judicial commission and advised that he should bring his party back into parliament and work in coordination with rest of the parliament to strengthen election commission.
