NAUNDERO: The caretaker of noted Sufi poet of India and Pakistan, Khawaja Ghulam Fareed has said that the works, which were to have undertaken after the untimely assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, have not been done due to which the population was suffering.
Khawaja Moinuddin alias Mehboob Saeen further said that after the passage of time the prevailing situation of unrest and uncertainty in the country would become normal. He said this while presiding over a literary gathering held under the auspices of late Manthar Solangi academy here on Sunday.
He said that the philosophy of Khawaja Ghulam Fareed’s poetry is to love humanity and resolve their problems. He added that the mystic colour of Sindh has always impressed them very much and they have learnt a lot from the saints of this province.
Another speaker Khawaja Kaleem while addressing the gathering said on the occasion that nationalistic character was found among the people of Balochistan and Sindh for any reason but with mystic teachings this could be overcome.
He said we should refrain from considering someone’s culture superior than another community’s culture. He further said that teachings of mysticism would take us all on right paths of loving humanity and spreading peace to everyone.
Sindhi poet Manzoor Mangi, retired professor Ghulam Hussain Katpar, Shareef Abro, Betab Solangi and others also spoke on the occasion.
